We are Scarlet View Media, a forward thinking and quality driven production company based in Leeds, U.K.

Over the past twelve years, we have provided content and service of the highest quality to numerous household name brands and film distributors around the world on feature films to commercials and everything in-between!

Scarlet View Media is based on a very simple foundation, to be the best that we can be for each and every client we service, whether for broadcast and theatrical clients or corporate businesses. We go above and beyond on-land, underwater and in the air to give you not only the best product we can offer, but also the best experience regardless of the filming environment.

Led by multi-award winning filmmaker and underwater cinematographer, David Diley, our specially selected team of experts handles a wide range of roles in both on-location and post-production services meaning we will be with you every step of the way, working together to create content that stands out from the crowd, engages an audience and leaves a lasting impression on the viewer.

David is the owner and creative director of Scarlet View Media. David primarily operates as a terrestrial and underwater DoP/Cinematographer, Colourist, Director and all-round film-maker

David Lawrie

David is our audio wizard. If you need your project to sound great, he’s your man for sound design, audio mixing, foley, ADR and everything in-between. David also composes and produces all our bespoke music.

Dan Abbott

Dan is an experienced Camera Operator both on-land and underwater with an extensive factual content background. He is one of two drone pilots we have and another valuable part of our underwater team making him a brilliant all-rounder.

Karina Sheard

Karina handles a lot of the organising and logistics on our larger projects. Whether it’s booking accommodation, international travel, timescales, documentation or financing, Karina will be the one making sure it all happens smoothly. On top of all that, she’s also our in-house mermaid which keeps things interesting!

Where do we work?

 
Anywhere, any place, anytime…

From Barrow-in-Furness to The Bahamas, forty metres underwater in the south pacific to 400ft in the air in Iceland, we’ve been there, we’ve filmed there, and we’ve made a lot of clients very happy in the process! For our on-location shoots we don’t have a limit to where we will go, if you have a requirement, we’re here to make sure we deliver, regardless of where that project may take us and for how long. If you bring us in for post-production, we usually operate from our own home studios, however, if you have a post-house or studio rented out, we will happily decamp to work from there. Flexibility is a big part of how we operate.
